The Nopsa project was started at the beginning of 2005 headed by our very own shipwright, Trevor Miller. The plans were designed by Ed Wahl who you can find down at the vessel at 75 Dallas Rd. Ed now has a crew of 6 tradesmen who have over 100 years experience. The crew consists of Trevor Miller, Chris McGregor, Steve Bojko, Mark Alteo, Richard McBride and Darrel Stewart. This project will take a few years but owner Robert Fraumeni will have the boat he wants and the way he wants it. The Nopsa has been with Bob for over 20 years and has been through the ship yards before. It has been widened and lengthened. Even lost the wheel house in a storm but she always comes back with beautiful West Coast fish. When she is finished she will be 69ft in length, will be able to hold @ 200,000 lbs in her holds and have an endurance of up to 90 days (fuel range).
