Hanna Lio Sustainable Seafood: Taste and Learn at Finest At Sea: Bob Fraumeni is fisherman and owner of Finest At Sea (FAS), Canada’s only 100% producer of known product origin seafood and sustainable seafood. July 10, 2009 - LIVE B.C. SPOT PRAWN SEASON IS ALMOST OVER!
Hanna Lio Finest At Sea is sad to announce that the season for LIVE B.C. Spot Prawns is almost over. The last delivery of these delicious local critters, caught just off the coast of Vancouver Island, is this weekend. B.C. Spot Prawns are the largest species of shrimp available from our western Canadian waters, and are known for their sweet flavour and firm texture. Available live, fresh, whole and tails, this weekend only. As always we will have Frozen At Sea B.C. Spot Prawns all year. Hurry in and enjoy the these once last time this year.

April 30, 2009 - NEW PROCESSING PLANT OPEN!
More than a year after the tragic fire loss of our original processing plant, Finest At Sea is overjoyed to announce the completion of our new state of the art processing and custom smoking facility. Our staff has moved in to the sparkling new building and are hard at work producing our fabulous specialty items. Watch here for news of the GRAND OPENING coming soon.

April 10, 2009 - OPEN DURING ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Due to the construction on St. Lawrence St, there have been signs posted throughout the neighborhood warning of road closures and detours. Finest At Sea would like to let our customers know that we are still open, and the obstructions are easily navigated. Please follow detour signs and use Oswego St, and then turn up Ontario St and continue to Dallas. Turn right at Dallas and follow it around the corner, where it turns into Erie St. You'll find our Seafood Boutique at 27 Erie St. We apologize for the inconvenience of the local road construction, and thank all our loyal customers for their patience.

March 26, 2009 - CANDIED SALMON IS BACK!
Finest At Sea is happy to announce the return of Smoked Candied Salmon. This is a favourite product for staff and customers alike. Come and try this delicious treat, selling for $5.49/100g. Hurry, this batch will go quickly!

March 23, 2009 - FRESH B.C. HALIBUT
Hanna Lio The crew at Finest At Sea are proud to offer the first of the season FRESH B.C. HALIBUT. Our fleet of commercial fishing vessels are out right now, plying the waters of the Pacific for this delectable, and sustainable fish. Delivered directy from the boats to our Seafood Boutique in James Bay, we are excited to have the "finest" fresh halibut around. Come and join us this weekend, March 26th-28th, 2009 for a special event to celebrate the season opening. Our professional processing staff will be on hand, ready to cut-to-order your delicious, fresh halibut. Ask a friendly staff member for a recipe to try!

Please read our Fresh vs. Frozen page as well, you will learn valuable information that might change the way you think about your seafood.

If you've been to Finest at Sea Seafood Boutique here in James Bay then you've seen some of the amazing videos that our crew captures while out at sea. We have now also collected some great photos which are in our gallery section, you'll be able to view each photo full screen and be able to download them for your viewing pleasure. There is even a slide show button once you are in an album for your convenience, so you can sit back and enjoy the show. You can rate each of our beautiful pictures and leave comments about them as well.
