June 27, 2008 - Wild BC Spot Prawn Season is closing today!
We will have our last load of Live BC Spot Prawns coming to our James Bay store tonight. We will have Frozen At Sea Spot Prawns available till next years season opens. There is some beautiful fresh Halibut and Spring Salmon currently available. We still do not have Mussels and Scallops due to red tide but our other shelfish is from other areas not affect. Come on downtown and see The Tall Ships this weekend and bring home some fantastic, healthy seafood for dinner.

May 2,2008 - Wild BC Spot Prawn Season is now OPEN!
Spot Prawn season is now open, and will remain as such for the next @ 80 days. We have prawning vessels Nordic Rand and the Nordic Spirit out harvesting these delicious critters for you this season. The Nordic Spirit will be delivering Live Prawns to our James Bay retail store every evening. We also have a huge $20 off sale on our Wild BC Frozen Spot Prawn Tails which come in a 1kg Box. Fresh halibut is also arriving every week.

April 25,2008 - Here is a great article from David Suzuki on farmed Salmon. It can also be viewed in this weeks Vancouver Island community papers.

April 1,2008 - Our retail store in Victoria has returned to normal hours Monday - Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 9am-5pm. We have beautiful first of the season FRESH Pacific Halibut available daily. Our processing plant is back to cutting fish but we are still unable to smoke product and make our famous specialty products. Check back often, things are always changing as our company leaps over the hurdles that have been placed in front of us.

March 12,2008 - It is with great sadness that we must inform you of a very serious fire which claimed our Victoria processing facility late last night. At this time we are unable to comment or speculate as to the cause of the blaze, but we wanted to let our customers know that we are intently devising a plan in order to have processing capabilities and retail store back up and running as quickly as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience this temporary shutdown may cause, we will continue to provide you with updates and further insight in the upcoming days.Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, wishes and immediate offers of assistance, we are so touched by your sincere concern and understanding.
